The groom’s cake for our son’s wedding was perfect. Bee’s Knees took my idea and photos and made it perfect. The cake was absolutely delicious, and their customer service was excellent as well. I got two cupcake bouquets and they were amazing. I gave a few inspiration pictures, a color palette, and flavors. I’m obsessed with the vanilla buttercream. Both the chocolate and vanilla cupcakes were great. These made the perfect decor and dessert for a shower!

I have so many great things to say about this place. We've gotten two cakes here so far and both were absolutely fabulous. The first time we sent an inspo pic from pinterest and it was EXACTLY what we wanted and was so beautiful. The second time we told them the ideas we had and they brought it to life. Both were perfect and the birthday girls were in love. I will be using this bakery for any cakes I need for the rest of my life.
The most important part is that this was perhaps the best cake I’ve ever eaten. Honestly, it was insanely delicious. Not only that, she made it look awesome for my daughter’s 5th birthday”mermaid” themed birthday. All of the parents there immediately started asking where we got it from and, after taking a bite, asked again to make sure they would remember so they could order from here for their kids birthday. Anytime we need a cake, or honestly, anything that they make, I’m absolutely going here.
I ordered cookies for a baby shower from Bees Knees. Jamie designed 4 different cookies (3dozen), and they were so adorable. At first, I thought they were expensive, but when I saw them….worth every penny. They took the time to look at the invitation and listen to my ideas. And they were delicious also!!! I could not have been more pleased. I wholeheartedly recommend this place!!!
We had Bee's Knees do our dessert table for our wedding and everything was incredible! Guest raved about the cupcakes, bars and chocolate covered strawberries! And our cake was exactly what we were looking for. They arrived on time and set up was a breeze! With this being my local bakery I already knew how incredible the cakes and desserts were but being able to share that with my friends and family made my big day even more special!
The cakes are amazing. Every year I get one for a birthday, I always order it just a little larger than I need because I need MORE. I only order cakes from Bee’s Knees. I go year round for their cupcakes and gooey bars (the lemon is so good). They also have great sandwiches with cheese straws for lunch, during the week. The owners and the staff are always friendly.
Jamie was wonderful to work with from start to finish. She was kind, responsive, and took the time to make sure my custom cake was designed exactly how I wanted it. The cake looked beautiful and tasted amazing. You can tell she puts a lot of care into her work. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a custom cake or dessert for a special occasion!
Bee's Knees has been one of my favorite places to go for a quick but delicious lunch whenever I'm on this side of Athens! You get your entree, side, drink, and an incredible dessert for a very reasonable price. I love their pimento cheese sandwich (it's even better when you ask for lettuce and tomato on it as well). Their cheese straws are also insanely good, highly recommend trying them. My favorite cupcake of theirs is by far the salted caramel; their buttercream is pretty sweet, but the salt and chocolate ganache on top cuts through and balances it out beautifully. The cake is always moist and delicate. I've also had their gooey bars and some of their other cupcakes in the past, and there's never been any I didn't thoroughly enjoy. The staff have been very kind over my several visits. Highly recommend if you're looking for a quick but super delicious lunch.
